Energy Change Institute Open Day 2019

The Energy Change Institute Open Day showcases the latest energy research from ANU and provides a platform for exchanging ideas for ANU researchers, industry, government agencies and other energy stakeholders.

The 2019 Open Day will include:

The latest news on renewable energy in the US from Greg Wilson (G.W. Consulting, formerly of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory).

An overview of progress in Solar Energy from Professor Armin Aberle, Director, Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore.

As well as:

  • Announcement of the JWLand endowment to the ECI, funding two seconded positions from the Department of the Environment and Energy
  • Our plans for the ECI Grand Challenge: Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific
  • Outcomes of the ActewAGL endowment grants
  • The latest research from new ECI members

Lunch is included (1 - 1.30pm) and will be followed by a Women in Energy Network meeting (1.30 - 2.30pm) and tours of the world-class ANU energy research facilities (1.30 - 3.30pm).
