A Renewables Site Tour of APEC Proportions!

On Thursday 9 November, SERREE facilitated a renewable energy site tour for a visiting APEC Expert Group on Energy Data and Analysis (EGEDA) on behalf of the Federal Department of Environment and Energy.

The visit showcased some of the region’s best offerings including guided tours of Veolia’s Woodlawn Bioreactor and Maoneng’s Mugga Lane Solar Park.

Morning tea was provided by Pialligo Estate with a private lunch and vineyard tour experience included at Lark Hill’s solar-powered, biodynamic winery.

Delegates were particularly interested in the available data that can be extracted and analysed during both the construction and operational phases of renewable energy infrastructure.

THE EGEDA team were represented by a range of nationalities including delegates from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, and Thailand; in addition to organisations including IRENA and APERC.

SERREE wishes to thank Veolia and Maoneng for opening their facilities and Lark Hill and Pialligo Estate for providing an exceptional regional food experience.
