SERREE facilitates RE Trail guided tour for international delegates

SERREE continued its international engagement this week facilitating a guided tour of their Renewable Energy Trail for a visiting Austrade delegation from Colombia.

The delegates develop and operate renewable energy infrastructure across South America and were keen to learn from Australia’s renewable energy experience and innovation, and to broker connections with the SERREE Region’s expertise.

The Colombian guided tour included visits to the ANU Big Dish, ActewAGL Energy Shop, Mt Majura Solar Farm, and ITP Renewables Battery Performance Test Centre.

Delegates also had the opportunity to enjoy the region’s food and wine with a lunch stop at Pialligo Estate helping to support regional economic development benefits.

The Colombian visit is the second Austrade delegation that SERREE has facilitated Renewable Energy Trail tours. Read about the Vietnamese delegation visit here.
