Global Renewables Forum
On Thursday, 27 August 2015, SERREE hosted a Global Renewables Forum – Industry Solutions to Climate Change in conjunction with the Royal Danish Embassy and the European Union Delegation to Australia. Ahead of the Paris Climate Talks to be held in December 2015, the Global Renewables Forum provided the opportunity for attendees to understand and participate in strategies that can drive renewable energy industry solutions to climate change. SERREE is investigating opportunities to connect members with Federal, ACT and NSW Government trade delegations by providing targeted information regarding available support for international development activities such as market visits, developing marketing material, promotion and advertising, participation in trade shows, supporting incoming buyer visits, market research and undergoing mentoring.
SERREE was recently approached by Austrade to host a Vietnamese Delegation to the Canberra region, including meetings with regional businesses and a site visit, which included: Mugga Lane Solar Park, Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre, Solarstor's solar thermal systems, and Boco Rock Wind Farm...
