The Renewable Energy Trail is both an education and tourism resource – a self-drive guided trail to showcase the diversity of renewable energy infrastructure sites located within the south east NSW-ACT region.
SERREE is developing the Renewable Energy Trail (RE Trail) in collaboration with the region’s key renewable energy stakeholders – industry, governments, communities, educational institutions and tourism operators to position the ACT and south east NSW as Australia’s exemplar region of renewable energy excellence.
Phase I of the RE Trail was officially launched by ACT Minister for the Environment Simon Corbell MLA at SERREE's Renewable Energy Day 2015 held on Friday, 30 October at the Canberra Institute of Technology’s Renewable Energy Skills Centre of Excellence.

NB: As these sites are located on private property, please respect property owners by not trespassing on their land. It is envisaged that some sites will develop viewing facilities as part of Phase II of the Trail development, and that others will open to the public on designated days. Join our mailing list to receive further Trail announcements.
Listen to an ABC interview about the Trail with SERREE Director, Liz Veitch.
Phase II of the Trail development has been outlined in a Renewable Energy Trail Concept and Action Plan, a consultancy undertaken by TRC Tourism and supported by SERREE Corporate Sponsor, Maoneng Australia.
